Blue Skies Ahead {road trip - part 5 - madison}

This was my second visit to the charming little city that is Madison, Wisconsin. The city is home to the Westye Group where Wolf and Sub-Zero is sold, I visited the facility during my previous visit. It is also home to one of Frank Lloyd Wrights first silver level LEED certified convention centers, Monona Terrace.

Madison's capital building lights up beautifully at night. Throughout the town fun trendy restaurants with huge windows that cast light onto the street add an ambiance to the the evening. A good steak and delightful cheese curds are commonplace in most restaurants. The city also has the vibe of a college town (what college?).

After our quick visit we headed to our hotel, an hour outside of the city. After a resting up we woke up early to drive to the Twin Cities...
